It's a good thing she's able to use her father's position to pay for school, because otherwise, she wouldn't be living on her own. But I digress.

General Description: 183 centimeters tall (6'1"), 70kg (165 pounds). Amazonian: Brazilian, Portegeuse, Briton, North African heritage. Honey brown eyes, dark brown hair, very wavy, kept short framing her face.

Clothes: Fashionable in a functional sort of way: form-fitting tee shirts, low-rider jeans, sensible shoes.

Telltale Marks: Ears pierced once in each lobe; no tattoos.

Quirk: Prefers golden age music -- Frank Sinatra, Dinah Washington, et al. She is a person whose faith in science was shaken and is constantly searching for scientific explanation for supernatural and metaphysical.

Personality: Sensible, logical, cool and collected -- usually. Sociable, a blast at parties, loves to hang out with people. Is good at taking things in stride where others might flip out; is used to dealing with hot-heads (experiance handling her father), which are some of the reasons she was hired to work at Dakota's. Tends to overthink in logic.

Idea Pool: Reese is the rock of Gilbraltar - sensible, logical, and, by the third book, desensitized as all hell.Studious, hard-working, but does know how to have a good time. Her dad tends to frequent the pub she works at to make sure the locals aren't harrassing her. When she's not working, studying, or in school, she likes to go out with Cade and see art house movies or drag him (although he doesn't complain) to attend seminars and public debates, usually pertaining to sociology and religion. She and Nata get along smashingly, since they both take similar sociology classes.

SPOILER ALERT! Of all the characters in the Apocrypha universe, Reese is perhaps the only character who's straightforward with her emotions and past. She doesn't usually divulge information on herself, but when she does, it's the truth. She was raised by her father and great-grandmother in an agnostic-lean-atheist household surrounded by scientist and philosopher friends and colleagues of her father. Really Old Images As of 2011, the were-creature aspect of the book has been dropped. It had been a much larger part of the story back when we first came up with the concept of the book ten years ago; it isn't now. Rather than nixing all the artwork altogether, we instead have it lumped in here. Art trade: it's still cool to draw using these as references, although it will no longer be part of the canon.
