General Description: 173 centimeters tall (5'8"), 69kg (150 pounds). Thin, whispy. Asiantic-slant eyes, hawkish nose. Golden-brown eyes (bright gold when Kasbeel becomes more prominent) black hair with hints of brown, tied back in a thick braid.

Clothes: Eccentric, leans toward Victorian style. Very fashionable -- a classic dandy.

Telltale Marks: Other than the impossibly thick braid, he has no tattoos or piercings. Maintains a well-groomed soul patch.

Quirk: Oscar Wilde called -- he wants his style back. (And despite whatever my husband says, he's not gay.)

Sin: From Enoch 1:69 - "This (angel) requested Michael to show him the hidden name, that he might enunciate it in the oath, so that those might quake before that name and oath who revealed all that was in secret to the children of men." In other words, he asked the wrong question.

Weapon: He's not a fighter unless absolutely cornered, and even then he tends to rely on his brother to get him out of scrapes.

Personality: Refined, friendly, protective (especially of Cade and Yosmine), secretive. He's an adept at the art of the segue, but he's so nice when he's doing so that people rarely realize their question or comment was never really responded to. His brother tends to describe him as a hedonistic dandy, although the girls don't understand why.

Idea Pool: Kasey loves people. He's socialable if a little eccentric. Considering that he's been around humans since antiquity, he's quite intelligent and oftentimes asks a lot of questions, if only to get the conversation rolling. He's quite fond of Nata for her inquisitive nature. He loves to entertain, and has a wine for every occasion -- however, the rarer the vintage, the more dire the situation around him. Like his brother, he does not like his friends getting involved in the cold war between Domain and Phase, but instead of Cade's blunt discouragement, Kasey aims to distract, which sometimes makes him seem aloof.

SPOILER ALERT! Kasey is turning out to be quite the dick in the story. He takes his secret-keeping to the nth level, able to hide things from himself — or rather, Cade. True, his feelings for the girls are genuine — he really does love them — but in his mind, they deserve that loyalty and devotion. By the third book, he's about two baby steps from becoming Liberatus, and we're quite sure that his wings would reflect that sooner or later. We're pretty mortified — and a little excited — to see how this one pans out. Originally, Kasey had a modified bull whip as a weapon (there's still an image up of him weilding it) but he's not much of a fighter from when he was first created. He's immensely powerful, but only within the confines of his dedicated space; in this case, A Glimpse of Eden. He very rarely leaves because he's literally bonded to the house.
