General Description: 198 centimeters tall (6'6"), 104kg (230 pounds). British with some North-African. Honey-brown eyes, thick, blond hair with sideburns and full beard that is peppered grey. Intimidating build, ruddy complexion. Handsome and rugged.

Clothes: Work clothes are business casual, usually black with a white or light-coloured tie; by the end of the day, the sleeves are rolled up, the collar unbuttoned and the tie loosened.Outside of work he wears jeans and long-sleeve shirts, again the sleeves pushed up.

Quirks: Very protective of Reese, looks down -- literally and figuratively -- on Cade, and sees him as a no-good slacker. Loves to go to the pub with his colleagues and "discuss" intellectual avenues such as the paranormal, quantum theory, cryptozoology, and origin theory. Yes, "discuss" is a very broad term. Raised Reese since she was three years old as a single dad.

Personality: Stubborn, argumentive, and highly intelligent. Intimitating. Has a soft spot for his daughter, of course.

Weapons: He was an underground pit fighter when he was a teenager and young adult; he is skilled in martial arts and continues to hone his abilities. His intellect can also be considered a weapon, as he can be very persuassive. Then again, it might also have to do with the fact he's a very large, angry-looking guy on a good day.

Idea Pool: Cade and Hayden are constantly at one another's nerves, although Hayden tends to be a bit more physical in his threats, and Cade either ignores or snaps back some witty comment, which only infuriates Hayden. Reese and Hayden are quite close, in spite of their frequent battles over her choice in men. As of the first book, Hayden doesn't know what Cade truly is.
